It is an active metabolite of tramadol O-PCE and is a lesser-known new dissociative agent of the arylcyclohexylamine class. The structural similarities shared by O-PCE with DCK, which is speculated to have antibacterial properties, expressed some concern about whether it also shares these properties. However, due to the lack of scientific research on the subject, it is currently completely unknown if this is true.
